The past two weekends have passed quickly here at Ballet 5:8. Our fall program, including the premiere of The Four Seasons of the Souls and the always poignant The Story of Job, has made its way to Davenport, Iowa and then back to the stage here for its Chicago premiere on Saturday night. Now, curtain has closed, the audience members have returned home, and Ballet 5:8's company artists are back in the studio, preparing for a new round of ballets and performances in the second part of the Fall Season. Still, the sounds, colors and movements of The Four Seasons of the Soul are still fresh in our minds. The ballet was simultaneously breathtaking and yet strikingly reflective of the journey that most Christian believers embark on as they walk through a life of faith. The end of the ballet paints a beautiful picture of wonderful hope Christian believers have as we walk through life, through the seasons, but according to the promises of the faith:

"He has made everything beautiful in its time." [Ecclesiastes 3:11]
