Q. Pick one word to describe this season overall. Why?

A. Strength! This season I have felt challenged in many ways as an athlete and as an artist. Most importantly though I felt greatly encouraged and uplifted in my faith. I have felt pulled and stretched in many ways but the Lord showed up in mighty ways carrying me through the tough touring months and the crazy rehearsal days. I reflect at the end of this season rejoicing in the Lord!

Q. What was your favorite moment onstage?

A. My favorite moment was my last performance of Four Seasons of the Soul as the Winter soloist. It was great to see the technical improvement I had made since first joining Ballet 5:8 and the freedom that allowed to share the message for that ballet.

Q. Looking back, would you say that you learned something new about yourself or found yourself stretched out of your comfort zone?

A. I was definitely stretched and challenged as Mrs. Julianna always seeks to challenge all of us every year. Most enjoyable was the physical virtuosity of performing The Space in Between.

Q. Is there a particular quote or idea that has been inspirational to you this season?

A. Nothing specific.

Q. What are you up to this summer?

A. This summer I will be teaching a lot, taking a small trip to Disney, oh and getting married August 3rd :)
