BALLET 5:8 LEAD ARTIST LAUREN ADER-CUMPSTON IN MUSINGS

BALLET 5:8 LEAD ARTIST LAUREN ADER-CUMPSTON IN MUSINGS

Ballet 5:8 is pleased to be part of the Harold Washington Library Center's Made in Chicago lunchtime dance series. This performance will feature Musings...Or Don't Take Yourself So Seriously and is appropriate for all ages. The performance will take place at the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium on the Lower Level of the Harold Washington Library.

What You'll See

The sense of humor evidenced in Musings is the product of any professional ballerina’s history of years upon years of performing the art form’s codified classic ballets.  Most often, audiences only see dancers when they are acting according to their intensive training – serious, dedicated, almost mythical in their appearance and work ethic on stage. Musings gives you a chance to experience the joy and creativity that is wrapped inside what can be seen as an otherwise stoic art form.
