Michael Caye is a seasoned artist whose dynamic range and technical clarity have made him a standout in both classical and contemporary repertoire. Most recently a Company Artist with Atlanta Ballet under the direction of Gennadi Nedvigin, Michael has originated roles in world premieres by choreographers such as Juliano Nunes, Garrett Smith, Claudia Schreier, Kiyon Ross, and Remi Wortmeyer. His repertoire includes works by renowned choreographers including Justin Peck (In Creases), Stanton Welch (Tutu), Cathy Marston (Snowblind), Lar Lubovitch (Elemental Brubeck), and Mark Morris (Sandpaper Ballet), demonstrating his adaptability across stylistic boundaries.

Michael began his professional career with Nevada Ballet Theatre, where he performed iconic works such as George Balanchine’s Four Temperaments and Ben Stevenson’s Swan Lake and Dracula, while also contributing to innovative collaborations with Cirque du Soleil. He has also appeared as a guest artist with companies such as Barak Ballet, Ballet Project OC, and Terpsicorp Theatre of Dance.

Beyond the stage, Michael brings his experience into the studio as a teacher and rehearsal director. He has served on faculty at the Point Park International Summer Dance Program and led rehearsals for Atlanta Ballet 2’s productions of Swan Princess and The Nutcracker. A graduate of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, Michael received pre-professional training at Miami City Ballet School and has been a Youth America Grand Prix Finalist.

His artistry is marked by a deep musicality, commitment to ensemble work, and a continual pursuit of growth—as a dancer, mentor, and collaborator.
