Conveniently located in Orland Park, IL, our facility is minutes away from major interstates such as 1-80, 1-57, and 1-355 and within 30-50 minutes from Midway and O’Hare Airports and downtown Chicago. Studios feature professional sprung flooring and Harlequin Marley, one or two walls of mirrors per studio, sound equipment with auxiliary plug-in, and portable barres. A variety of studio shapes and sizes are available for your audition, rehearsal, choreographic, filming or performance needs.

Subsidized rates are available to independent artists and organizations with annual budgets under $100,000. Proof is required.

Black box theater rental
A flexible theater space for performances, presentations, filming, and events.
The Black Box Theater day rate includes 9 hours of total access, including 8 hours of event use and a 1-hour break, plus setup and teardown labor.
Included in the day rate
- ✓Sprung Marley performance floor
- ✓Chairs and risers for up to 100 seats
- ✓Basic sound system, lighting grid, side lighting, and soft goods
- ✓Use of one additional studio as dressing room or backstage space
- ✓FOH support, setup and teardown labor, parking, and cleaning fee
Additional support
Need staffing or services?
Additional staffing and services may be available depending on your rental needs.
Pianist
$70/hr, paid directly to the musician.
General staffing
Front of house, registration, and reception staffing available at $25/hr.
Technical support
Technical crew, stage management, and additional theater staffing available for black box rentals.

Submit insurance
All renters must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming Ballet Five Eight NFP as Additional Insured.
Secure booking
A $100 non-refundable deposit confirms your rental. Remaining balance is due 48 hours before the rental date.
