The Thick
A weekend of conversation and reflection on faith, imagination, and what endures. Join Ballet 5:8 for two days of thoughtful discussion, practical wisdom, and creative encounter through the lens of C.S. Lewis and the arts.
About
The Thick & the Clear invites participants into thoughtful engagement with the arts as a way of seeing more deeply and more truthfully. Through sessions, conversations, and shared experiences, the conference creates space for questions that are intellectually rich, spiritually attentive, and artistically alive.
The 2027 gathering will explore C.S. Lewis through three enduring works: Meditation in a Toolshed, The Great Divorce, and The Weight of Glory.
