Pre-Professional enrollment: September 8, 2026 through June 12, 2027. Tuition and performance fees may be paid in full or divided into nine installments. Tuition is non-refundable once enrolled.

Community Division: Subscriptions renew monthly and require auto-pay. Drop-in rates are $20 for 60 minutes, $25 for 75 minutes, and $28 for 90 minutes.

Dora Ciacca
From Italy to New York and beyond, Dora Ciacca received her early training from Ballet Academy East, 92Y, and The Ailey School. She continued her studies in the Cecchetti Method in Italy, contemporary dance in Rome, and the Vaganova method at Yerakhavets Ballet Academy in Barcelona.
Dora began her professional career with Ballet de Barcelona in 2019 and danced with Columbia Classical Ballet for three seasons. She is the founder and director of the Bobbio Summer Ballet Intensive, dances with Metropolitan Ballet in Minnesota, and performs internationally as a guest artist. She also serves as Ballet Mistress with Dance by Kris and Stage Left Company and teaches masterclasses, workshops, and intensives in Italy and the United States.

Alessandro Angelini
A third-generation ballet dancer and arts administrator, Alessandro Angelini trained at Tulsa Ballet’s Center for Dance Education before joining Oregon Ballet Theatre II and later Eugene Ballet. His professional career included classical and contemporary repertoire by choreographers including Nacho Duato, Nicolo Fonte, Toni Pimble, Edwaard Liang, Sabrina Madison-Cannon, and Suzanne Haag.
After retiring from the stage in 2022, Alessandro served as Creative Director of BodyVox Dance Center, where he expanded community programming and helped develop a thriving youth program. He later returned to Oregon Ballet Theatre as School Registrar. Alessandro is excited to help build a vibrant Fox Cities community rooted in dance, creativity, empowerment, and empathy.

Questions Before You Register?
Which program should my dancer choose?
Preparatory Ballet serves dancers ages 3–10 and provides an age-appropriate path from first ballet classes through Level 1. Pre-Professional Ballet serves dancers ages 8+ and requires an audition or invitation. If your dancer has previous training or may be ready for Pre-Professional placement, use our placement form before registering.
How do the former Makaroff levels translate?
Ballet for 3-Year-Olds is Prep 1, Ballet for 4-Year-Olds is Prep 2, Pre-Ballet is Prep 3, Level A is Level 1A or 1B, Level B is Level 2A, Level C is Level 3A, and Levels D and E are Level 4A.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. All program payments may be paid in full or divided into nine installments. Contact the School office if you need help selecting the installment option during registration.
What does the performance fee include?
Performance fees cover rehearsals and costumes. Performance tickets are sold separately.
