Pick one word to describe the overall season. Why?

Revitalizing. I felt the joy of dance gradually grow with each passing week of the season.

Can you share a favorite moment from on or offstage?

Performing Julianna Rubio Slager’s The Rough-Face Girl (specifically the rain dance) in our largest studio with the garage doors open during a thunderstorm was such a neat experience.

Out of all the works you performed this season, does one stand out as the most meaningful or most notable for you personally? Why?

I believe Reckless had the most impact on me as a person and as an artist. Being able to share such a challenging and important story in such a unique way moved me as much as it did the audience.

Is there a particular quote or idea that has been inspirational to you this season?

The concept which has continually stood out to me through this season is the importance of community. I have greatly appreciated how invested each company member is in working together as a team to challenge and support each other.

What are you up to this summer?

On my days when I'm not teaching at the School of Ballet 5:8 Summer Intensive or summer classes, I'll be tending to my wonderful house plants and enjoying some lovely sunshine!
