Q. When did you start training in dance?

A. I started dancing when I was 9 years old.

Q. When did you know you wanted to dance full time?

A. After moving to a new studio when I was 10 and performing in The Nutcracker, I knew I wanted to dance full time.

Q. What are the first steps to a career in dance?

A. Good training and the desire to pursue your dream. 

Q. What was the most challenging part of building a career in dance?

A. For me it was moving away from home in order to find good training.

Q. What do you enjoy most about being a professional dancer?

A. Having the ability to create movement that can evoke emotions, performing on stage, and seeing how much this art form can be used to reflect God’s glory. 

Q. What valuable skills have you seen yourself develop through dance?

A. The skills of perseverance and perspective.
