This May, join the School of Ballet 5:8 for Angelina, the Wayward Daughter — a sweeping fairytale ballet about a princess who leaves the safety of her kingdom in search of freedom, adventure, and a life entirely her own.

Inspired by the biblical story of the Prodigal Son, this original full-length ballet follows Angelina’s journey through dazzling worlds, unexpected dangers, heartbreak, and ultimately, redemption. Along the way, she discovers that love is not something that must be earned, but something waiting faithfully for her return.

Featuring a cast of more than 300 dancers from Ballet 5:8’s nationally recognized classical ballet training programs, Angelina, the Wayward Daughter brings together lavish costumes, dramatic classical music, immersive storytelling, and original choreography by Ballet 5:8 Artistic Director Julianna Rubio Slager.
