Chicago’s uplifting holiday tradition returns — now in its 12th year.

This December, Beyond the Nutcracker returns to Orland Park for one special holiday weekend, featuring select performances with the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra live. Tickets are limited.

Named one of the Top 10 Nutcrackers in Chicagoland by Pointe Magazine, and featured on Good Morning America and Around Town with Ana Belaval, Ballet 5:8’s beloved holiday production reimagines Tchaikovsky’s iconic score through a heartwarming story set in 1940s England.

Created by Artistic Director Julianna Rubio Slager, the ballet follows Emma and her Uncle Abrahms on a journey that reveals the deeper meaning of Christmas through wonder, generosity, and hope.

With stunning choreography, rich storytelling, and a joyful holiday atmosphere, Beyond the Nutcracker has become a cherished tradition for families across Chicagoland.
